Passed away suddenly at home on August 18, 2024. Eva, in her 83rd year, was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Lévesque for 56 years. Loving mother of Suzanne (Dan), Carole (Jocelyn), Michel (Monique) and Lynne (the late Paul). Special Grandma to Matthew, Ryan, Genevieve, Stéphanie, Danielle and Joseph. Great grandma to Landon, Melody, and Lydia. Dear daughter of the late William and Obéline Aubé and dear sister of the late Bernard, Hector and Cécile Aubé.
Eva was born in the small town of Moose Creek, Ontario. In 1960, she married the love of her life and moved to the big city of Ottawa and started her family. They bought their first home on Maxime Street in 1967 where she lived the rest of her life. In the 70’s she started working part time to help support the family. In retirement she was happiest in her garden, reading a book or spoiling her great grand children.
A visitation will be held at Hulse, Playfair & McGarry – St. Laurent Chapel, 1200 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa on Saturday, August 24th from 10am until time of memorial service in the chapel at 12pm. A private family burial will take place at Hope Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Humane Society will be gratefully accepted.
