Into the Hands of God, Betty Francis Morris (nee Kluke), aged 85, peacefully passed on September 28, 2024, in Ottawa- Nepean. Born on August 28, 1939, Betty was known for her loving, generous, kind, patient, and thoughtful nature.
Betty leaves behind a legacy of warmth and benevolence. She is survived by her son, Patrick Morris; grandson, Timothy; and an extended family of cousins, in-laws, Godchildren, and close neighbours and friends. Her beloved husband, George Morris, preceded her in death.
Throughout her life, Betty was an active member of her community and a devout Catholic and attended St. John the Apostle Parish in Ottawa. Her commitment to service was evident through her hobbies, which included knitting for charity, reading, and supporting the Humane Society of Ottawa.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated, to honor Betty’s life, at St. John the Apostle Parish, 2340 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 10:00 am.
Interment at 12:00 noon in the Notre Dame Cemetery, alongside her husband George.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Betty’s memory can be made to the Ottawa Humane Society or the Ottawa Mission, causes close to her heart.
