Peacefully on Sunday, December 10, 2023 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Efrain Barrera. Loved step-mother of Neyda Long (James), Militza Villarroel (David), Efrain E. Barrera (Raquel), Myriel Barrera. Step-grandmother of Jorge Barrera, Maria Emilia Barrera, David Elias Villarroel (Maja), M. Cristina Villarroel (Adrian), Carlos Villarroel, Carolyn Gerhardt (Cody), Ephraim E. Barrera (Hailey), Joshua, Jeremiah and Ezequiel Barrera. Cherished great-grandmother of: Vina and Adiala Barrera, Orayo and Marseo Villarroel, Leonor and Rebeca Sifontes.
The family would like to extend many thanks to the staff of the St. Patrick’s Home Ottawa for all their care, compassion and kindness.
A service will be held later in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Ottawa Food Bank.
