Obituary of Art Wing Lee
July 27, 1932 – May 18, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Art on May 18, 2024 in Nepean at 91 years of age. Art was born July 27, 1932 in Guangzhou China and immigrated to Canada in 1951. He owned a successful restaurant business in Kitchener Waterloo and Cambridge Ontario and retired in 1997, moving to Ottawa with his wife, Yim King Lee, to help raise their grandchildren.
Art is survived by his three children: Chuck, Sue and Andy (Joy) and four grandchildren: Marlee, Christina, Alyssa and Justin. Predeceased by his wife Yim and son-in-law Paul.
A Visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 25th from 9:30am to 11:30am at Highland Park Cemetery (2037 McGee Side Road, Carp ON), followed by graveside service and inurnment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
