Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, with family by her side, at Extendicare Oshawa, at the age of 88.
Predeceased by her husband Harvey, her son Barry, and her grandson Michael. Loving mother of Linda Korpan (Edward) and Debbie Carriere (Denis). Cherished grandmother of Stephen (Dawn), Darren, and Desiree (Troy) and great-grandmother of Austin, Jaden, Brandon, Lucas, River, Taylor, Victoria, and Max. Dear sister of Doris, Fern, Neta, Garnet, Johnny, and Ronnie. Predeceased by siblings Howard, Dean, Candace, Barbara, and Donnie.
Phyllis was adventurous, enjoyed fishing, and loved to travel and spend time with family and friends all over the world.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place at Thornton Cemetery.
