Unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Scarborough Centenary Hospital, at the age of 80.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Allan Gurr and her son Ken Dowell. Loving mother of Karen Forrest (Robin). Devoted grandmother of Eric (Erin), Stephanie (Michael), Allyson, Quinn, Logan, and Sarah, and great-grandmother of Maisie. Dear sister of Barbara (Tom) and Steven (Shirley). Carol will be lovingly remembered by Ron Forrest and missed by her loyal companion Murphy.
Predeceased by Ernest & Jeanette Morris and Bea & Frank Godsmark.
Carol will be dearly missed by her stepfamily; Christopher (Raschel), Jennifer, Adrianne (Shakeel), Julie, Charles, Jamie, Kaleb, Isabel, Kara, and Noah.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.
