Maverick (Bébé) passed away peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on Monday January 22nd, 2024, at the age of 73. Born in St. Anne’s NB predeceased by parents Meldric and Rose (nee Berubé) Martin. Beloved partner of Leanne Newby. Loving father of Jenny, Mel, Lisa, Angel, Lorraine, Julie-predeceased, Jessy, Aimeé, Keven; Stepfather of Jim, Jackie, Cheryl, and Leanne. Proud grandfather of Dylan, Megan, John, Roy, Brianna, David Jr, Jenny, Francois, Vincent, Selena, Katelyn, Briana, Vanesa, Danny, Amber, Nicolas, Jaxson, Jaclyn, and step grandfather of Alyssa, Kaelyan, Hunter, Karleigh, Lexi, Faith, Angus. Cherished great grandfather of Katelina, Elijah, William, and Shawn. Dear brother of Clarence, Marth, Mary Rein, Battine, Ambroise, Rosanna, Erinsteine. Maverick will be missed by his family and friends. A service to celebrate Maverick’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia on Thursday February 1st, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception.
