It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of
Luke Dorey at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday October 30th, 2024, at the age of 31. Born in Orillia, beloved only son of Lucretia Dorey, and William Hemelaar. Proud and loving father of Lily. Much loved brother of Ryan Gaudin, Lissa Down (Jason), Lacey Shular (AJ), Brooklynn Hemelaar, and Brayden Hemelaar (Stephan). Dear uncle of 5. Cherished grandson of Ray and Mary Dorey, and his Oma Barb and Opa (deceased)Bill Hemelaar. Luke will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Services are being held at Dominion Gospel Hall, 30 Andrew St. S., Orillia, on November 23, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
