Doris passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024, at the age of 87 in her home at the Birchmere retirement residence in Orillia. Beloved mother of Brian (Diana), Brant (predeceased), Tracy (Steve). Loving grandmother of Julia (Sean), Natalie and Brian. Honorary Grandmother to Sandra (Baxter), Karen, Neil, and Shayla. Honorary Great Grandmother to Addison and Colt. Sister of the heart to Ferne of Orillia and Fern of B.C. Doris will be missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A celebration of life will be at the Army Navy and Airforce Vets Club, 74 Victoria St, Orillia on Sunday May 26th, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Humane Society or the charity of your choice through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E., Orillia 705-327-0221.
