Anderson, Robert (Bob) Wilfred
Surrounded by his family, Bob passed away peacefully at the Mariposa House Hospice on Thursday October 3rd, 2024, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Mary Anderson. Loving father of Robert (Suzanne), Philip (Christine), Catherine (John), and Michael (Lori). Cherished grandfather of Kristoffer (JJ), Victoria (Curtis), Luke (Phoenix), Emily, Alicia and Jake, and great-grandfather of Braxton, Theodore, Grace and Kayden. Dear brother of the late Joan Hutton and Gerald (Moira) Anderson.
Bob spent his entire life in Orillia and was actively involved with several clubs and organizations over the years. He loved a good game of golf, enjoyed his football and supported any sport or activity his kids and grandkids were involved in. He was a true family man who offered unwavering love and support for his family. His wisdom and charm made lasting impressions on anyone who knew him. Bob will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E. Orillia on Wednesday October 9th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. A service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held on Thursday October 10th, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Mariposa House Hospice or the Ontario SPCA Orillia. Messages of condolence are welcomed www.simcoefuneralhome.ca
