Passed away peacefully at his home in Brechin on Friday August 2nd 2024 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Gerry Winchester ( nee Lahay). Loving father of Vern (Amanda), Dale (Christine), and Eddie (Tracy). Cherished grandfather of Tom, Mike, Kate-Lynn, Chris, Jesse, Ashley, Ryan, Gary, Jamie, Brandon; great grandfather of Carson, Savanah, Tanner, Sophia, Eleanor, Monroe and Toby. Dear brother of 6 siblings – all predeceased. Bill will be missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A celebration of life will be held at the Brechin Legion, 2146 Concession Rd 4 in Brechin on Sunday August 11th , 2024 from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Brechin-Mara Branch 488 through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St E Orillia (705) 327-0221.
