Peacefully, passed away at his home with his family by his side on November 27th , 2024 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Linda Sheard and the late Dianne Sheard. Proud and loving father of Cindy Drake – predeceased (David), Alvin Sheard Jr. – predeceased, Dwayne Sheard (Julie -predeceased) (Kerry), Serlena Greenwood (Mike) and his stepchildren Angie Larocque (Brian), Kevin Larocque (TerryLynn), and Amanda Larocque (Ryan). Cherished grandfather/Bubba of Little David – predeceased, Brandy, Josh, Mitchell, Travis, Robert, Ryan, Rannie and his step grandchildren Shawna, Jacob, Hailey, McKenzie, Mya, Nathan, Madison and great grandfather of Jack, Ocean, Leighton, Owen, Landen, Kayden and Lily. Predeceased by his siblings Elizabeth “Liz” and Doug . Loving son of the late Charles and Ella Sheard. Alvin will be missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street , Orillia on Saturday November 30th , 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. followed by a reception. The family would like to offer a sincere thank you to the Bayshore Nurses and PSW’s for their compassion and their excellent care.
