Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre on Sunday October 27th, 2024 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late John Simmonds (2021). Dear mother of Shelley Parkin (Graham) and Linda Simmonds. Cherished grandmother of Kendra (Jon), Nicole (Tim), Matthew (Larissa), Keisha (Alfredo) and Torrissa (Devon). Dearest Great-grandmother to Brock (2022), Leah, Madison, Charlotte and Sophie. Remembered by her Sisters Carol, Sharon and Marie. Predeceased by her sister Jean and her brother Bob. Marilyn will also be greatly missed by other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on November 9th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Marilyn in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
