Passed away in Jamaica on Thursday, December 5th, 2024 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of 61 years of Kenneth Gordon (2022). Dear mother of Denis (1980), Kenneth Jr., Elaine (Greg) Cotton and Elizabeth (1972). Cherished grandmother of Kyle (Jennifer) Cotton, Kirsten Cotton, Kristopher Cotton and Karissa Cotton. Great-grandmother of Owen, Cloey, Ciara, Lukas and Rylie. Predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and John. Doris will be greatly missed by her sister Pat (Arthur- deceased) and her brothers Steven, Walter (Shelia- deceased) Gordon. She will be met in paradise by her siblings Elizabeth (Peter) Foley, James Gordon, John (Peggy) Gordon, May (Oswald) Sturdy, George (Bridget) Gordon and Peter Gordon. She will be missed by many other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday December 27th, 2024 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 42 Dawson Rd., Orangeville on Saturday December 28th, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow mass at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville.
A tree will be planted in memory of Doris in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
