John Stuart ‘Jack’ Bennett passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre following a brief illness on Monday, May 13, 2024, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Donna (née Potts). Loving father of Stephen Bennett (Kim Palmer) and Nicole Pixley (Allan), proud grandfather of Emily, Madison and Jack. Remembered by Randy Potts (Katie), Lori Knapp (John), Amanda, Kennedy and Karson. Predeceased by Kevin Potts. Survived by his sister Barbara Haggerty (late Ned) and predeceased by his brother Hugh Bennett and sister Marilyn Lyons (late Bruce). Son of the late Cecil and Eleanor Bennett, Jack grew up in the family business, Bennett’s Foods in downtown Kingston. Always the life of the party, he will be fondly remembered by the patron’s of the Red Fox pub in Perth, as well as many nieces, nephews and their families.
A Graveside Service will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens in Glenburnie on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 12 pm. For those desiring, memorial donations to a local Humane Society of your choice would be appreciated by the family in memory of Jack.
