Peacefully at the Rideaucrest Home in Kingston on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her beloved husband Roy C. Rogers and brothers Jack and Clayton Shane.
Lovingly remembered by son Myron (Carla); daughters Heather (Doug) and Deborah; sisters Margaret Dundon and Alice (Cal) Rohne, and sisters-in-law Betty Shane and Mary (Ron) Hough; granddaughter Brooke (Paul); grandsons Ryan (Stephanie), Alex (Erica), Jordan (Jenna), and Mitchell (Alysha); great-grandsons Evan, Caleb, Rory, Reid, and Kace; great-granddaughters Isla, Ellie, and Charlotte; and many dear nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered and missed by longtime friends Shirley Edmunds and Oliver Bauer amongst many others.
Family will gather for a private service at a future date with interment following at Wilton Cemetery.
In celebration of Betty’s decades of love, devotion, and service to her family, friends, and community, in lieu of flowers, donations to UHKF (Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario) or the Ontario Humane Society would be appreciated by her family.
