On Friday, June 14, 2024 at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston, Andrew Paul Brooks (1955-2024) passed away peacefully after a long illness. Andy was born on February 23, 1955 in Mandeville, Jamaica. He spent his adult years going to university and working in Toronto. He retired with his wife to Eastern Ontario and the Kingston area.
Beloved husband and best friend for over 40 years of Sonia Lemishka Brooks. Much loved older brother of Frances, Sylvia (Bruce Jensen), Martin, and Sheryl (Brad Long). He is survived by many nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed.
We would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Kingston General Hospital and Providence Care Hospital for how exceptionally well they took care of him. Donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373).
Please share your memories and condolences to the family.
