Suddenly passed away at the Victoria Hospital-London Health Science Centre, on Friday, December 27, 2024, in his 83rd year.
Special friend of Lorraine Gauvin for many years.
George will be missed by his brothers and sisters Gordon (Shirley Cox), Gloria (Gordon) Harrison, Grace Kobialka, Gary, Glen (Elisabeth Orth), Goldie Stone; and their families.
Predeceased by his parents William (1987) and Marguerite (2007) Stone, and Sister Gayle (2016) and her husband Terry (2023) Ryder, sister-in-law Laurie (Middleton 2023) Stone, niece Sheri Kobialka (2023), brother-in-law Harold (2018) Kobialka.
Family and friends will be received at the Norwich United Church, 80 Main Street West, Norwich, ON, on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10:00 – 10:45 am.
Funeral service will be held at the Norwich United Church at 11:00 am. Janice Pow to officiate. Reception to follow. Donations in memory of George may be made to the Norwich United Church or the Norwich Merchants Junior C Hockey Club.
