Sherry White Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Sherry Lee White at Cassellholme Home for the Aged, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the age of 76 years.
Sherry was the loving and adoring mother to Shane White (Ronnie) and doting grandmother to Marcus White (Katie). She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Sandy Meloy (David predeceased), Wendy Thoma and Davey Meloy. She is predeceased by her parents Douglas and Frances Meloy.
She was the kind and generous ‘Petite Aunt’ to Pamela Haggart, Leah Haggart, Jennifer Thoma Almenar (Trevor), Matthew Thoma (Deanne), Nathan Thoma, Victoria Georgie, Cameron Meloy and Lily Meloy. Great aunt to Nicholas Haggart, Devin Almenar, Callum Almenar and Merrick Thoma. She will be missed by many close cousins. She had a passion for cooking and always made sure there was plenty of food for everyone. Her favourite pastime was watching televised hockey games. Sherry was an avid volunteer for the South River Legion and South River Minor Hockey Association for many years.
Sherry’s family would like to thank the staff at Cassellholme for their compassionate care.
