TROTTIER, Ruth Ann Jenking (1939-2024) has left this life for the next adventures that God has in store for her. Blessed to be the daughter of Grace (Bess) Fairbairn and John H. Jenking, sister of Mary Beth (Monty Flom), Nelson (Sharon) and John L. (CJ d. 2017), the wife of Loys J (d. 2004), the mom of Terri (Chris L’Heureux), Jim (Sharon), David (Laura), Robert (d. 1988), and Nicole (Patrick Byrne), the Granny of Andy and Alex L’Heureux, Katie and Maddie Trottier, Amelia (Jake Landry), Olivia, Eliza, and Isabella Trottier and Sam, Mallory and Alison Byrne. GG of Charlie, Delilah, and Ronan Landry.
She enjoyed keeping in touch with her many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends through Facebook posts. She was a life member of Emmanuel UCW, serving as Treasurer for 43 years and for a couple of terms on the executive of Manitou Conference UCW after retiring as an accounting supervisor of Pinewood Park Motor Inn (1976-1999).
Ruth’s family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Dr. Gauthier and the D3 staff who provided excellent care.
A Visitation for Ruth will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Martyn Funeral Home (464 Wyld St. North Bay) with a Funeral Service to follow on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 11:00am at Emmanuel United Church.
