Unexpectedly passed away at his cottage on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the age of 77 years. Rolly was the beloved spouse of Marie (nee Chayer) Gauthier, and the loving father to Carole Gauthier, Tim Gauthier (Jessy), Natali Gauthier (Dylan), and Eric Gauthier (Crystal). He was the cherished grandfather to Sabrina, Sebastien, Damian, Jace, Sydney, Adian, Elody, Naomi, Mavryk, Justine, and great-grandfather to Maycie. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings and in-laws, Donald (Liette), Diane (Robert), Rheal (Carol) and Lise. In-Laws, Anita, Jeanette, Paul, Lise, Anne (Mike), Bob, and John. He is pre-deceased by parents Edward Gauthier, and Evelyn (nee Gravelle) Gauthier, brother Hector, Sisters Vivienne and Giselle, and granddaughter Katie. As per Roland’s wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
