It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of Robert John Earl Turner. He passed peacefully on June 6th, 2024 at Cassellholme after a prolonged illness, with his loving wife of 60 years Linda (nee Ferris) by his side. He will be greatly missed by his children Audra Fazzari (John), Candace Turner, and Jake Turner (Gemma), as well as his grandchildren who he adored, Noah Fazzari and Mackenzie Turner. He will also be missed by his loving sisters Susan Boudreau (Aurele pre-deceased), Mary Lou Potter (John), Joanne McIvor (Bruce) and Roberta Collins (Jamie), and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Ferris. A favourite uncle to Courtney McLeod (Adam), he will be missed by her and his many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Helena, brothers Harry and Tom, sister Carolyn and close sister-in-law Elsie Mullin. Special thanks to Dr. John Andrews his longtime doctor and friend.
Earl was a proud man who always put his family first. He had his own sales agency and enjoyed his long career, especially the many relationships he formed with customers and colleagues alike, many who became lifelong friends. Earl always had an amusing story to share, often about himself, and he will be missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the North Bay Food Bank.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 14th, 2024 at St. John’s Anglican Church (301 Main St E, North Bay). Visitation 12:00-1:00pm, Funeral Service 1:00pm, followed by a light lunch. Cremation has taken place.
