HOSHI, Yuko (nee Wada) – It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Yuko at her residence, on Friday December 22, 2023, at the age of 71. Beloved wife of 45 years to Henry Harumasa and cherished mother of Emie (Randy) Rossi. Proud and loving Obaachan to her grandchildren Katia and Kenji. Yuko will be lovingly remembered by her brother Hitoshi (Noriko) Wada and her in-laws Susumu Hoshi, Tomiko (Isao)Takahashi, Sadame (Kazuko) Hoshi and Asai Hoshi, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Mitsuo and Reiko Wada, brother-in-law Kunie Hoshi and sister-in-law Emiko Hoshi. Yuko will be always remembered as generous, caring and loyal to all her friends and family. Having been diagnosed with Parkinson’s over 40 years ago, she faced each day with great strength and courage. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Saturday December 30, 2023, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
