KRETZ, Walter Gordon – After a courageous battle with cancer, Walter passed away on Saturday February 10, 2024 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his partner Marion DeFazio (2018). Walter is survived by daughters; Brenda (Chris) Meehan, Tracy Hillier (Peter Kratzmann), grandchildren; Gavin, Kaitlyn, Ryan, great-grandchildren; Fraser and Bowen, sister Lana (Don) Caskenette, brother Peter (Patricia) Kretz, as well as nieces, nephews and many cousins. He was affectionately known as the ‘Swiss Toolmaker’ and enjoyed horses, dancing and spending winters in Florida. Heartfelt thanks to Janice and all the dedicated caregivers who took such wonderful care of Dad. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Saturday April 6, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held at 1 pm at the funeral home (For those who wish, a livestream of the Funeral Service will be available at facebook.com/pattersonfuneral).
