BUCHANAN, Thomas “Tom”- Peacefully, on January 12, 2024 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Louise (2023) for 66 years. Loving father of Cathy Oliver (Doug), Dave (Patti) and the late Mark (1999). Dear grandfather of Tricia Oliver, Kristen Oliver (Emerth), Stephen Oliver (Carla), Brittney Albanese (Dan), Sabrina, Olivia and Emett Buchanan. Cherished great grandfather of Keegan, Jonathon, Evan, Avianna, Amir, Aymin, Easton, Connor, Antonio and Vera.
Tom is survived by his sisters-in-law Mary Lou Burberry, Judi Burberry, Sue Burberry, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law Bob Burberry, Bev Sorley (Bill), Barb Gill (John), Larry Burberry (Audrey) and Roger Burberry.
Family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 from 4-7 pm. A private family interment will be held at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
