BERNARD, John Louis- Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday October 5th, 2023, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of 73 years to Hilda Ann Bernard (nee Gray). Loving father to Mary (Orest) Szymanski, Dennis (Patsy) Bernard, Ann (Peter) Liefl, the late Joe (Donna) Bernard, and John Philip (Lisa) Bernard. He will be missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Bridget Bernard, brothers, and sisters. John will be remembered as a peaceful, kind, and gentle person. Friends are invited to PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main Street in Niagara Falls, on Tues October 10th, 2023, visiting from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday October 11th at 1 pm, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
