MCARTHUR, Jane (nee Loney) – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jane McArthur (Loney) beloved wife of Colin (Norman) McArthur, together for more than 50 years, passed away peacefully, on February 25th, 2024 at the age 80. Loving Step mother to Colin (Silvia), Dan (Wendy), Terri (Tim), Dawn (Wally), Jamie, and Mike (Jennifer). Cherished Grandmother to Colin Jr. (Tonia), Vanessa (Alex), Kris, Kara (Kuba), Candace (Brad), Tyler (Heather), Kailee (James), Joey, Jacob, Evie, and Frankie. Great Grandmother to Harper, Macy, Everly, Paxton, Alastir, Cora and Asher. Jane will be deeply missed by her very special friend, Zuzu. Survived by siblings, Bridget, Barney, Patrick and Dan. Predeceased by her parents Adrian and Eileen Loney and many siblings. Jane worked at EH Ferree Leather and then Dorchester Manor for 20 years and retired at 65. In loving memory of Jane, known to many as the ‘Cookie Lady’ whose passion for baking brought joy to all who knew her, especially families that lived on Sunrise Court, in Niagara Falls. Her delicious treats and warm smile will be deeply missed. She leaves behind a legacy of sweetness and kindness that will forever be remembered. Cremation has taken place.
