FILIPCHUK, Gail Marilyn – Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday December 23, 2023 at the age of 57. Beloved wife of Barry for 25 years. Loving mother of Emily Filipchuk (Aaron Wilkinson) and Jacob Filipchuk. She will be sadly missed by her adored dog Odin. Caring daughter of Helen and the late Eugene Sheppard (1989). Dear sister of Joe, Steven, Lynda, and the late Susan (2013). She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
In 2015, Gail ambitiously opened Niagara Dance Academy and her dance family was created. She will be greatly missed by the dancers, parents and staff.
Gail’s strength, courage and kindness has inspired so many. Her positivity and compassion shined wherever she was.
Gail’s creativity, brave adventures, loving heart and soul, will never be forgotten.
In keeping with Gail’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls on Sunday January 7, 2024 from 11 am to 2 pm. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, those who wish can make a memorial donation to the Niagara Falls Humane Society.
