It is with great sadness that we announce that Francesco Piazza passed away peacefully in his sleep with family by his side on March 26th, 2024, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Rosanne for 61 years. Devoted father of Antonio, Vincenza (Rocky), Alessandro, and Giovanni (Gillian). Adored grampa of Malcolm, Adam, Jeffery, Joshua, Ethan, Piper, Quinn, Wyatt, and Breagh. Dear brother of Giovanna, Rosalia, Vincenza, Maria Maddalena, Anna (d.1960), Angelina (d.1960), Caterina, Leonardo, Guiseppe, Salvatore, and Paola. Predeceased by his parents Vincenza (1992) and Antonio (1995). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Monday, April 1st, 2024, between 11am and 1pm, with a service to celebrate the life of Francesco to begin at 1pm. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Canadian Lung Association.
