HUNTER, Chelsey – It is with great sadness that the family of Chelsey announces her passing. Chelsey passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday December 8, 2023 at the age of 38. Beloved wife of John Simon and cherished daughter of Debbie Lair and John Hunter. Loving daughter-in-law of Roseanne Ralph and sister-in-law of Ernest Simon. Dear niece of David Lair, Marlene (John) Caesar, Danny Lair and Ronnie Lair. She will be lovingly remembered by her cousins Shannon (Josh) Caesar-Gizzie and Daniel (Kaitlyn) Caesar. Predeceased by her brother Ryan Hunter (2015), grandparents Renate and Bob Lair, sister-in-law Angel McCallum (2021), and father-in-law Ernest Simon Sr. (2021). Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, for a Celebration of Life on Thursday December 14, 2023 from 11 to 1 pm. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Chelsey, memorial contributions may be made to Project Share or Start Me Up Niagara and would be appreciated.
