It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Theadore (Ted) Murray Walton.
Ted passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital Cobourg, Ontario. He had a long battle after suffering from a stroke in 2013.
Ted loved coaching baseball for his boys, also helping his nephews in their coaching years. He loved playing baseball Sunday mornings with his legion buddies. Ted enjoyed his years as a member of branch 178 Bowmanville, Ontario. Especially his years of selling and organizing button sellers for the Santa Clause Parade. Ted loved hanging out with Adam and Jason’s friends, who all called him “TEDDER”. He always had funny stories to share with them.
Ted had a favourite saying. “Work Hard, Play Smart an always be a team”.

Pre-deceased by his mother Audrey (Campney Gibson). Survived by his father Murray Walton. His wife of 50 years Elizabeth (Pearce) his two sons Adam (Kristy), Jason (Jessica). Four grandchildren who he adored Wyatt, Colby
Kendal and Avery. Ted has three siblings he will be missed by: his dear sister Susan, brothers Robin (Reta) and Jay (Sharon). Many brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews will miss him also.
A Graveside celebration will take place at a later date at Bond Head cemetery Newcastle, Ontario
