DIETRICH: Dianne Linda – Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday December 20, 2023. Dianne Dietrich of Tavistock and formerly of Goderich, Point Clarke and St Agatha in her 79th year.
Loving mother to Brad and wife Jennifer and their children Brendan, Lindsay (Vithushaan); Lisa and husband Ted Schurink and their children Bo, Jay, Mitchell, Jesse (Kyla) and children Elias and Rowan; Laurie Dietrich: Leanne Dietrich and husband Shawn Hurlbut; Wesley and his wife Milena and their children Lucy and Ryder; Calvin and his partner Laurie and their children Wynter, Peyton, Charlotte, Quinn and Oliver.
Beloved partner to George Magee whom she shared the past 14 years with, and his sons Mike, Brandon, Bob and George Jr.
Will be missed by sister-in-law Leone Kaster and her daughter Steph; niece Terri Boutiler.
Predeceased by her parents David and Norma Kaster, sister Mae and her husband Akmal Khan and her brother Gordon Kaster.
Later in her life Dianne would have the pleasure of discovering her biological family, Gerald Arthur Beynon and Jellva (Jo) Newman and siblings Sandra, Gary, Peter and Dennis Beynon.
Dianne not only raised 6 children of her own but was also the most amazing, loving mother to many, many new borns who needed an immediate loving home. And a few older ones too.
Mom loved to live near the water. She resided in Point Clarke for many years and later moved to Goderich.
Dianne loved country music, drives in the country, spending time at her property by the river in Wingham, the occasional visit to the casino but most of all spending time with her 13 grandchildren a 2 great grandchildren.
Mom waited for all of her children to be by her side on December 20th before taking her final breath.
She will never be forgotten and will have a place in all of our hearts forever.
Thank you to the staff at the Maples Retirement Home in Tavistock where she spent 5 short days before falling ill. Also, thank you to the many nurses and doctors at Stratford General Hospital for their care.
