Charlie was born on November 12, 1951 in Shawinigan, Quebec and he died peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2023 due to complications of pneumonia, and Parkinson’s disease. Predeceased by his father Gerald Kaine, his mother Jean Kaine, and his brothers Tony (Yvonne) and John. Father of Matthew (Natalia), grandfather of Susan. Cherished brother of Brenda Kaine (Stephen Pyle). Lovingly remembered by Wendy-Lee Fiset and his nephews Tyler and Bradley. Charlie is remembered fondly by Mary Kaine. The family is very grateful to Charlie’s assistant Asha Walia and to the staff of the Peter D. Clark Centre.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) from 5pm until 6pm on Monday, October 30th, 2023. Burial to follow at 10am on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Canada.
