Passed away at home on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Vandaline Ann Pierce of Tamworth at age 89. Beloved wife of the late Joe Pierce and dear mother of Richard; Ronald (Korena); Debra Pollard; Anthony Pierce and Angela Fowler (Jim). Grandma to Alex (Emily) and Lucas, Darcy, Kurtis (Lindsey), Josh (Courtney) Ciara, Allan and Faith and predeceased by grandson Mitchell Pollard. Great-grandmother to Ridley, Weaver, Levi, Joseph, Boeden, Merrick, Lennon and Olivia. Sister of Sherlie Detlor (Grace), Blanche Hinchey (late Bruce) and the late Bernice Kirk (Roly) and Vernard Detlor (Velma). Also survived by Joe’s siblings of the Pierce family. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Tamworth (613-379-2997) on Friday, January 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, January 13 at 11 a.m. Interment Tamworth Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Memorial Care Foundation of Tamworth (Cunningham Memorial Park) would be appreciated by the family.
