It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tom, at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, following a tragic traffic accident on Monday. Thomas Ronald Burke of Tamworth at age 61. Beloved husband of Lori Burke (Haggerty) and dear father to Jenny Burke of Guelph, Sarah Mills and Malaki Burke of Tamworth. Brother of Jimmy (Alice), Michael (late Gladys), Lawrence (Cindy), Betty Smith (late Phil), the late Harriett Wood (Russell), the late John Burke and the late Patrick Burke. Tom is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Tamworth on Friday, December 22 from 9:30 a.m., followed by Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Father Brian Russell officiating. Interment follows at the Tamworth Cemetery Columbarium. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, or a kind contribution to the family would be greatly appreciated.
