We are sad to announce the passing of our Mom and Grandma. Shirley is predeceased by husband Doug. Shirley was born in Michigan, predeceased by mother, father, two brothers. Proud mother of Richard (Sheryl-deceased), Karen McDonnell (Richard) and Cheryl. Grandchildren Matt, Sarah and Curtis plus Murphy the wonder dog. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles, garden, she was a great cook but family times together were the best. Mom taught us kindness, respect; help your neighbours and volunteering for the community was important. Cremation has taken place and private family burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to CNIB or Sandy Pines Wild Life in Napanee would be appreciated by the family. In the care of Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee 613-354-3341.
