It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Oscar Alcide Leo Brosseau at age 70 on November 14, 2024 at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital in Napanee, Ontario. He was survived by his 3 children, 12 grandchildren, brothers Daniel Brosseau, Joseph (Jill) Brosseau, and sister Genevieve Brosseau. Oscar will be missed by his 3 nephews and a niece as well as several great nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his son Jeramie Brosseau, 1 grandchild, brother Armand Brosseau and both parents Alcide and Alice Brosseau as well as his grandparents.
Oscar was born and raised in the Comber/Tilbury, Ontario area. Where he was raised on his parents farm and learned the value of hard work at a young age. He spent many years working on motorcycles and cars on the farm. Recently Oscar was enjoying his later years on a farm raising animals. He had horses, ducks, geese, chickens and goats as well as his 2 cats. When he was not tending to the animals he could be found in his gardens where he grew different varieties of fruit trees, bushes and some vegetables. He often spent a lot of his time helping others who needed it. He will be missed by a lot of family and friends.
As per Oscar’s wishes he will be cremated and his ashes will be spread at a private ceremony with family and friends. Any donations to help his children cover the costs of his funeral can be made too: Go Fund Me link to be added. Condolences may be forwarded online through wartmanfuneralhome.com
