It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keitha Sherriff at the age of 102. Beloved wife of the late Ferguson Sherriff. Keitha was an amazing Aunt and friend, and will be greatly missed by her family; Earl Sly (Ilona), Karen Greatrix (Paul), Marsha Watson, Janet Sly, and Paul Sly. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and great, great nieces and nephews and extended family. Keitha was predeceased by her mother Carrie Vandaline (Detlor) and by her father Sherlie Wellington Haines, and by her sister Rita Sly and brother-in-law Carmon Sly. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff on Sydenham 4 at Providence Manor in Kingston for their exceptional care and compassion that Keitha received over the years. A special thank you to Angus Froats, a neighbour and friend of Keitha’s for his continued support and communications over the years. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Hannah Funeral Home in Tamworth on Monday, December 4 starting at 10:00 a.m., with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment Tamworth Cemetery, followed by reception. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
