It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Brenda Pauline Hatton at the Lennox and Addington Hospital in Napanee on Thursday, February 22 at age 82, after a brief illness. She is the beloved wife of the late Alan Hatton and dear mother of Lance Hatton of Kingston and Alan Hatton (Tanya Hyatt) of Napanee. Sister of Duane Wemp of Kingston and the late Lee Wemp (late Doris) and the late Grant Wemp (Gale of Toronto). Aunt of Herb, Valerie, Jamie, Derek and Barent Wemp and Lisa Renaldo. Brenda was a well loved and popular hairdresser in Napanee for many years, working with Hilda Smith and then with Thecla Gaffney at their shop on Dundas Street. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home, in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West, on Sunday afternoon, March 3 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, March 4 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Camden V Cemetery Newburgh. Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
