Passed away peacefully, at Kingston Health Sciences on Monday, January 15, 2024. Bernard Joseph “Bernie” Barrett at age 92. Beloved husband of the late Mary Barrett. Dear uncle of Brian McNulty (Jan) and Kim Peterson (Raul Cirne), great-uncle of Michael (Maureen), Andrew (Debi), Laura (David), Elizabeth (Tom), Stan and Victoria (Drake). Great-great uncle of Isaak, Layla, Ben, Penny and Theo. The family wishes to thank his PSW team Andy, Patti and Laura and nurses and doctors on Connell 10 at Kingston Health Sciences Centre for their excellent care of Bernie. The family will receive friends at the Hannah Funeral Home in Tamworth on Friday morning, January 19 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial follows at the Church of the Assumption in Erinsville at 11:00 a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery with reception at the Funeral Home after. Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
