Peacefully with his family by his side at Watford Quality Care on Friday, December 13th, 2024, Ron Gerhold formerly of Melbourne in his 79th year.
Beloved Husband for 51 years of Louise Gerhold (Nee: Kellestine). Loving Father of Nick (Jana) and Ryan (Luette). Proud Grandpa of Deandra (Kevin), Austin, Ethan, Maddy, Carson, Riley, Sadie, and great Grandpa of Winona and Sterling. Dear Brother of Marilyn, Nacy, and Randy. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Carl, Raymond, and Wayne.
Ron loved his career as a long-haul truck driver. He did not look at it as a job, but a daily adventure to experience new people, places and things. Ron will be missed in the trucking community.
As per Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date. Inurnment Longwoods Cemetery, Melbourne.
