Obituary of Larry Franklin Fisher
Peacefully at his home in Muncey with is loving family by his side on Saturday, December 14th, 2024, Larry Franklin Fisher Sr. in his 91st year went home to join his beloved wife Fay Virginia Fisher (2023) (nee: Floyd).
Loving Father of Elizabeth (Jim) Waddilove, Larry Fisher Jr., Wendy (Gerald) Dunn, Fred (Bonnie) Fisher, Bill (Joanne) Fisher, Douglas (Karen) Fisher, and Shane (Linda) Fisher. Proud Grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Survived by sisters Dorothy Shildrick, Velma Moore, and brother Maynard (Carol) Fisher, in-laws Creatha Fisher, Rose Fisher, Norma (Ron) Floyd, Bonnie White, and Kathy (Paul) Roelofsen. Predeceased by his son Leslie Stephen Fisher (1962), grandchildren Stephen Fisher (2018), Megan Fisher (2021), brothers Delbert (1999), Fred (2017), sisters Rena French (2017), Julia Fisher (2011), Yvonne Conley (2018), and brothers- in-law Richard Floyd (1969) and Robert Floyd (2009). Son of the late Florence (2006) (nee: Grosbeck) and Frank L. Fisher (1977). Son-in-law of the Alma (1984) (nee: Cornelius) and Vincent Floyd (1986). Larry will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. He will also be missed by his poker/casino buddies Amanda Hutton, Bill and Joane Fisher, Cheri and Gene Hendrick, Terri Fisher, Cheryl Patterson and Elizabeth Waddilove.
As per Larry’s request cremation has taken place. Inurnment Middlemiss Cemetery, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation Reserve at as later date.
Sacred fire has been lit at his residence, 139 Jubilee Road, Muncey. Everyone Welcome.
Extra special mention to Stephanie Snauwaert, Cheryl Patterson, and Bonnie Fisher who went above and beyond to make Larry feel special and loved and to his caretakers Clint Cornelius and Waylon Doxtator.
