Obituary of Irene Delia Antone
Peacefully at St. Thomas Hospital, Yen^stash etas (She counts corn) Irene Antone (nee Ireland), of Oneida Nation passed away in her 96th year.
Predeceased by husband James R. Antone (1989). Loving mother of Alvin (Darlene), Doug, Sam, Maxine and Lorrie with a special mention to Adrienna. Predeceased by children Leslie (1990), Stephen (1990), Marla (2015), Delphine (2019), Yvonne (2022), Shelton (2022) and Brian (2023). Predeceased by parents Florance Ireland nee Dockstader and Jessie Ireland also by brothers: Manson, Chester, Hiram and Stuart. Irene was a proud grandmother to 23 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. She was a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews. She will be tremendously missed by all.
Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT – MADILL FUNERAL HOME, Mount Brydges on Sunday, December 1st, 2024 from 7 – 9 pm where the funeral services will be held on Monday December 2nd, 2024 commencing at 11 am. Interment Fellowship Baptist Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the following for their care of our Mom/Grandma over the past 9 years – OLTC, Tina, Lela, Cara, Chelsey, Cody, Twyla, Shaolin and the nurses and doctors of the 5th floor at St. Thomas hospital.
