Peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, December 25th, 2024. George F. Grosbeck Sr. of Chippewa of The Thames 1st Nation in his 86th year.
Beloved husband of Shirley Grosbeck (nee Fisher). Loving father of Debbie (Norm) Bethune, Barbie Grosbeck, and George Grosbeck Jr. Grandfather of Paul and Steve Bethune, Kristy, Samantha and Vaughn Nicholas, and Lehi, Moroni and Ammon Grosbeck. Great grandfather of 16. Remembered fondly by sister Karen Deleary and predeceased by brothers Hubert, Leslie, Ivan, and Merle Grosbeck.
Friends may call at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges on Saturday, December 28th from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral service to follow on Sunday from the Church of Jesus Christ, 20650 Muncey Rd, Muncey Village, ON N0L 1Y0 commencing at 11am. Brother Larry Champine officiating.
