Obituary of Floyd Phillips
Unexpectedly, on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, Floyd J. “Jim” Phillips Jr., started his journey home in his 57th year.
Survived by his loving wife Monica Phillips (nee Doxtator) and the light of his life, his daughter Mia. Also survived by his siblings Dorrey Cowell (Will), Kelley Phillips, Darren Albert, and Vince Albert. Dear uncle of Shayna (Tash), Madison (David), Dantae, Dareon, Tiara, Dravin, Mickenlee, Kane, and Avery. Great uncle of Lilyanna, Maddox, and Amias. Predeceased by his parents Floyd Phillips Sr. (1991) and Linda Antone (2023). Survived by brother-in-law Colin Doxtator (Donna), and sisters-in-law Maryanne Haselhah, Joanie Antone (Rick), and Myra Ireland. Will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his niece Sierra Phillips (2010) and nephew Brandon Brow (2020).
Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, Mount Brydges on Monday, November 18th, 2024 from 6 – 8 pm where the Celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024 commencing at 11 am. Interment Fellowship Baptist Cemetery, Oneida.
