Obituary of Charles Keith Ball
Quietly, with his family by his side at Oneida Long Term Care Home on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, Charles Keith Ball formerly of Nipissing First Nation, in his 62nd year.
Lovingly remembered by his sister Marylou and her son David, His brother Jason (Melanie) and their children Nixon, Oliver, and Reese of Temagami First Nation. Deeply missed by Freya Long, his aunt Kathy and her daughter Megan. Predeceased by his parents Gisela and Gary, His uncle Brian, and his grandparents Keith and Bernice Ball.
Charles spent time in the Canadian Armed Forces and worked as a TV and small appliance repairmen, as he could “MacGyver” anything. His last career was as a long-distance trucker, where he loved driving those 18 wheelers. Known for his sense of humor, generosity and friendliness, Charles loved socializing with everyone he met. To Charles no one was a stranger; just a friend he hadn’t met yet. Charles would have wanted us to give a “Big Thumbs Up” to the staff of Tsi Nu Yoyantle Na Tuhuwatisni, Oneida Long Term Care Home for their compassionate care over the years and particularly at the end of his life. He was well-liked and considerate of the staff, his friends and extended family.
As per Charles wishes cremation has taken place and a ceremony will be held in the spring at which time he will be interred with his grandparents in Stirling, Ontario.
