Stanislawa (Staszka, Stella) Olowiecka
October 28, 1926 – August 31, 2024
Our dearest Staszka went to be with the Lord on August 31st2024, in her 98th year. Proud of her Siberian Exiles Cross awarded to recognize and commemorate her family’s deportation from her native Poland as a young child, she was a protector of her three sisters, Ludwika, Janina, and Aniela, helping her mother Agata shield her sisters from the horrors of war. This all took place without the benefit of their father’s care and protection, having had earlier perished in the war.
Staszka’s deeply imbued sense of family led her to dedicate her life to being a protector and caregiver to her family throughout her noble, selfless life. While pursuing a successful career as a longtime dedicated bookkeeper, her love of her family knew no bounds. Generous, caring, and setting an unparalleled example of principled living, disciplined study, hard work, and, above all, adherence to her deep Catholic faith, we all looked up to her as someone to emulate.
Staszka maintained a keen interest in geopolitical matters, current events, and remained active in Polish scouting throughout her adult life.
Predeceased by her devout, caring mother Agata, her courageous father Jan, her sister Ludwika (Viktor), and her brother-in-law Orest (Aniela), she will be profoundly missed by her devoted sisters Janina and Aniela; her niece Barbara (Steve), nephews Richard (Janet), John (Johanna), and Mark (Nikki); great-nieces Katie, Kristen (Travis), and Nevaeh,and great-nephew Jake.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Share Life or a charity of your choice. Private interment with a Catholic funeral liturgy for immediate family has taken place at Assumption Catholic cemetery.
