Paul Edward McBride passed away at the age of 90 years old. He passed away peacefully at his residence at the Eden House Care facility in Guelph, Ontario on December 2, 2024
He was a loved brother of Joe, Anne and Joan.
And a loving father of, Jim (Pauline), Richard (Debbie), and John. Paul was a grandfather of Justin, Lillian and Roxy and a great grandfather of Mason.
Paul worked as a school teacher for the Catholic school board for 32 years. He taught new Canadian students English and physical education. He was active, coaching and refereeing, many school sports. Shortly after retirement he started up, a courier business working with his brother Joe, at his law firm, McBride Wallace Laurent and Cord LLP.
Paul liked having something to do; he worked with them, for 30 years. He was quick to smile, and always had a joke to tell, to anyone that would listen. He enjoyed the independence of the job, and was well liked at the office.
Memorial funeral service for Paul will be held December 9, 2024, at Saint Leo’s Perish at 11 am. , located at 277 Royal York Road.
