On June 6, 2024 Pat had lost his short battle with Cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife Monique Dionne who he cherished beyond measure. He will be dearly missed by his children Lian and Jason (Tinsa) Pat also enjoyed his Grandchildren Thunder, Echo, Raven, Cree Moon, Sundance, Nicole and River. Many nieces and nephews who will always carry fond memories of their Uncle Pat. Born March 26 1956 Pat came from a large family, where he was the 7th child to Walter and Ida. Many of which have beat him to the Pearly Gates. With the exception of his siblings Keith, Sharon and Walter. Pat may have had less than his planned life span but he did not live an average life. As a young boy Pat was an alter boy and a proud army cadet. Where he was known for his boot polishing skills with an unbeatable spit shine. Pat was often smiling and easy to laugh. He was always happy to extend his homestead for family functions and gatherings alike over the years of living in Lanark County. He was known in younger years for his love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding his horses and being in the back 40. His friends and family are so grateful for the multitude of memories at his home. Pat was happy to be a traveller to many places! Many of which were the roads less travelled where he connected with the locals and enjoyed outstanding experiences. Pat was a man of many skills that included his studies in cabinet making and horticulture. This helped him develop his passion for gardening and honing his craft with the tall green plants. He was a construction worker, welder by trade and enjoyed some mechanical hobbies as well. Pat owned a Trans-am, which was his prized vehicle. Pat was a welcoming man, a great haggler. A straight shooter that told it how it was and we loved him for it. A man who favoured the simple things and a simple life with his wife Monique. He was always looking forward to the weekends when she would bake his favourite apple pie and chocolate chip walnut cookies. He loved those! We all do. Cremation will be taking place and a burial will be announced at a later date.
