On Tuesday June 4, 2024 Maria Moniz of Mississauga passed away surrounded by her family.
Maria is predeceased by her mother and father Maria and Manuel Carvalho and her brother John Carvalho. Maria is survived by her husband Jose, her two sons Daniel and Steven (Amanda) and her cherished granddaughter Lyla. Loving sister to Eusebio Carvalho (Patricia), Manuel Carvalho (Christine), Ilda Medeiros (Guy) and Alexandrina Lindo (Frank). She will be fondly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Maria was a devoted Wife, Mother, Vovó, Sister, Aunt and friend to many. She will be sorely missed at her regular meet ups for breakfast. She enjoyed spending her days reading a book in her chair in the backyard lovingly gifted to her upon retirement from people who were more than just co-workers they became life long friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation
